COVID-19 ¿por qué los niños son menos susceptibles?

Resumen

Los niños infectan por SARS CoV-2 con menor frecuencia que los adultos. Además, en los niños la infección es asintomática las más de las veces y en la casi totalidad de las series reportadas los casos severos de COVID-19 son poco frecuentes. Varios factores, no excluyentes, han sido expuestos para explicar la menor susceptibilidad de los niños a la infección por SARS CoV-2 y al desarrollo de cuadros severos de COVID-19.
